Energize Delaware Programs
D-PACE is designed to help qualifying commercial, industrial, agricultural, nonprofit and multifamily (with five or more units) property owners access long term financing for the installation of qualifying energy improvements. Such improvements may include any construction, renovation or retrofitting of energy efficient technology, clean energy systems, or qualifying waste heat recovery technologies that are permanently fixed to qualifying commercial property.
With this program, businesses can borrow from $10,000 up to $2,000,000 per project, with attractive terms and interest rates for energy efficiency measures and renewable energy initiatives.
This program provides multifamily building owners with technical assistance, financial incentives and low-cost financing for energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy investments to reduce building operating costs.
Commercial businesses with solar electricity can earn extra income by selling their excess energy back to Delmarva Power through the SREC (Solar Renewable Certificates) Energy Auction.
This fund provides prescriptive incentives to help commercial businesses install high-efficiency natural gas heating and water heating equipment, lighting and controls, vending improvements, and more.
This program offers businesses and organizations grants to offset the installed costs of photovoltaic, solar water heating, wind and geothermal renewable energy technologies for customers of certain utilities.
This program for nonresidential building owners provides installation grants for geothermal heating and cooling systems as part of Delaware’s Green Grant Program. It also offers rebates up to $200,000.
