Energize Delaware is committed to helping Delaware's institutions, non-profit and other public-sector organizations save energy and money by increasing the energy efficiency of their facilities.  Whether it's replacing older equipment with higher efficiency units, acquiring financing for energy efficiency upgrades or providing a comprehesive building approach, Energize Delaware has a program to address each organizations' specific needs.

Energize Delaware's Efficiency Plus Program

The Efficiency Plus Program provides a wide breadth of prescriptive and  equipment incentives and custom incentive options and financing to reduce the costs of energy efficiency upgrades, saving you money now and in the future.  A kick-off meeting was held on June 11th to introduce this new initiative.  View the presentation made to attendees. 

Highlights of the program include:

• Incentives up to $20,000 per project ($50,000 per Tax ID) 
• Co-funding for Energy Audits up to $2,000 (required for custom and financed projects)
• Loan amounts up to $250,000  per project
• Special incentives and loan rates for tax exempt organizations (To be announced)

Energize Delaware's Performance Contracting Program

The Performance Contracting Program is a comprehensive energy saving program directed at schools, universities, municipalities, hospitals and other non-profits and privately held institutions.  The program provides a comprehensive approach to assess energy use and to implement energy and water efficiency improvement projects by providing contractual and financing mechanisms to execute the upgrades with minimal financial risk.
