Find a Contractor
To qualify for available rebates through Energize Delaware's Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Program, you must first have a home energy assessment performed by an approved Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified contractor. These professionals have been trained to use the most advanced, state-of-the-art equipment to test your home and identify energy efficiency improvements.
Every company on the list is a Home Performance participating contractor and can be contacted to learn more about the program and schedule an energy audit. If a company has a Home Energy Auditor designation below its name it means the company has on-staff, BPI certified home energy auditor(s) who will conduct your home energy audit. If a company listed does not have the designation, it means the company does not employ BPI-certified home energy auditors on-staff, but have partnered with other approved firms on the list to conduct the required home energy audit.
Once the energy assessment is complete, and you have elected to move ahead with some or all of the recommendations, you may continue to work with the same contractor to make improvements, or may choose to work with a contractor(s) of your choice listed below.
You will not be eligible for Energize Delaware rebates if your contractor is not pre-approved and listed below. Effective September 1, 2011, you must also receive a rebate reservation confirmation from Energize Delaware to be eligible for any available Energize Delaware rebate. Ask you contractor for more details.
Energize Delaware Home Energy Loans are now offered through a limited number of contractors. Look for the Financing Partner designation to note those contractors which also offer financing on Energize Delaware Home Performance projects.
PLEASE NOTE: Energize Delaware does not endorse any particular manufacturer, product, system, design, claim or contractor in promoting this program. The contractors listed below warrant their own work and may charge different fees for services they provide, including the home assessment if additional testing is included. It is generally accepted practice to contact several contractors before selecting one. Neither Energize Delaware, the program managers nor its contractors warrant the products or services of participating contractors.
