How to Participate

Get started saving today with Home Performance with ENERGY STAR!

Energize Delaware’s Home Performance Program starts with a comprehensive home energy audit to help you identify the overall energy-efficiency of your home and provide energy-saving recommended upgrades to fit your home and budget.

A trained contractor will perform the audit which includes important diagnostic testing such as Blower Door and Duct Blaster tests to determine the right energy efficiency improvements for your home.  All contractors must follow strict quality assurance standards and meet high levels of customer service.

A home energy audit can identify health, safety and high energy use caused by drafty rooms, uneven temperatures, mold and moisture problems. If you move ahead with your project, a portion of the cost of the energy audit will be refunded.  To learn more about the benefits of this comprehensive approach, watch this video.
