ENERGY STAR® qualified dishwashers save you money by using 31% less energy and 33% less water than conventional machines while delivering superior cleaning performance.
- Save water. A dishwasher built before 1994 uses about 8 gallons of water per cycle. Compare to that a new ENERGY STAR qualified model which uses about 6 gallons or less. Selecting shorter cycle options provides additional savings.
- Advanced technology. Dishwasher technology has improved dramatically over the last decade. New technology provides improved performance including soil sensors, improved water filtration, more efficient jets and innovative dish rack designs.
