ENERGY STAR® Appliance Rebate ProgramBefore its conclusion on August 31, 2010, the program helped thousands of Delawareans replace old, inefficient appliances and make a difference -- for the environment and for their wallet. All told, nearly 16,000 rebates were processed for appliances that will collectively save residents more than $366,000 and cut almost 4 million pounds of CO2 emissions. When purchasing a new appliance, look for the ENERGY STAR® label to ensure you're buying an energy-efficient model that will save you monthly on your utility bills. Also, be sure to recycle your old appliance.
